Mayco SW-406 Dark Magma, 473 ml
Magma was developed to create a rough, cratered surface. The thicker the application, the more textured the surface will be. Can be applied to bisque or combined with other mid-range temperature glazes. The amount of dimension and cratering is a direct result of how thickly the glaze is applied. A thinner application will produce a surface more like sandpaper.
At cone 6 Dark Magma is charcoal coloured with a high texture. At cone 10 the texture slightly flattens but there is no change in colour.
