Stoneware KGM body
Smooth. KGM has a wide firing range and can be used at earthenware temperatures. Its' warm, creamy colour makes it idea for decorating or coloured glazes. Can be fired as stoneware from 1220 x-1250 in both oxidised and reducting firing, its colour responding well to glazes. A small amount of speckling can be seen in reduction firing. The body throws and turns well, can be used with handbuilding techniques and also makes a very good slip casting body. Fires to an off-white colour.

Clays may be collected from our workshop, alternatively we offer a delivery service for an additional charge, free if we call to service or repair your kiln. Delivery charges will be dependant on weight and address. Please ask for more details.
